I highly recommend CJ Roofing, LLC for any roof repairs you may need! We have had a leak around a vent on our roof for about a year after paying two different contractors to fix it. We were extremely frustrated with the past service provided and were in search of a reliable roofing company. I initially reached out via email and got a response the same day. Less than a week later Charlie stopped by to inspect the roof and provide an estimate. He truly went above and beyond, listening to my concerns, took a photo of the issue, explained what needed to be done, and provided an estimate at that visit. The very next day his team came and fixed the issue! Additionally, his team took pictures of the process and finished project. We so appreciate your responsiveness, professionalism, and detail. Had a gap in the roof due to wind damage and CJ roofing inspected it the next day and made sure they had it fixed before it rained. Also did some needed maintenance on the slate part of the roof and inspected the rest of roof. Very responsive and professional, easy to deal with and doesn’t try to sell you on anything you don’t need. The price was reasonable given their speedy response and the quality of the work. They’ll be my go to roofers in the future.

Charles and his team at CJ Roofing completed repairs and maintenance to our roof. We highly recommend CJ Roofing. The process was efficient, scheduling was easy and communication was good. The price was reasonable and workmanship on point. For reference we have a metal roof with a small portion made of rolled rubber. CJ Roofing repaired the seam between the metal and rolled rubber. In addition, they recoated the entire roof with fibered aluminum, repaired a few slate shingles on the mansard and installed a missing gutter downspout.

If your roof is leaking it has to be addressed and properly fixed, but that doesn’t always mean a full replacement. The only way to know for sure is to have a licensed roofing company inspect and assess the leak. We offer free estimates and would be happy to come take a look at it. It depends on several factors, most importantly what kind of roof your home has and how big it is. Most roofs in DC can be replaced in a single day, hardly any take more than two days.
There are many kinds of roof coatings and many different application methods, but almost all methods and materials recommend coatings be done in above freezing weather. Thankfully that means that they can be done on many winter days in the Washington area. So I guess the answer would be that it’s weather dependent.
