I would be only too happy to elaborate on my rating of "1"for this institution. While there are great l "sounding" personnel to answer calls it nonetheless feels like I have suffered complete patient abandonment from my doctor in attempting to procure my medication. I have placed upwards of ten calls to their patient care dept. to request "Dr. K." to rewrite my prescription for a current in-stock dosage of my same prescription (my particular dosage is part of a longterm nationwide shortage). If he is unaware of it he SHOULD at least be MADE aware from my numerous requests to please rewrite the current prescription to subbing in an available dosage amount and adapting the 30 day pill count to reflect that adaptation. Simple stuff. Is done all the time for patients. All I am requesting is what was prescribed for my condition as per our ongoing appointments that I am current on and have paid for. No one EVER ONCE, either from the doctor or staff, have followed up with me. EVER called me back with any effort to help me. I have now been without my medication for almost 2 weeks!!! And no end in issight!! How would YOU like to be discarded as a patient?! There are easy ways to fix this and no one seem to care enough to even follow through. My husband happens to be a physician at a local hospital and would NEVER, ever leave one of his patients in the lurch like this! As a result of this abandonment I have suffered consequences continuing to affect my personal health and wellbeing. It is affecting my ability to function. I am NOT happy to have to use this forum by which to communicate my frustration, but has been the SINGULAR time that there has ever been a glimmer of inquiry to my predicament! I have formally given up on receiving a call back from Mind and Body and instead will be writing to the DE Bd.Of Medical Licensure who will be contacting this doctor for a rebuttal. He CAN'T "ghost" on them! My personal experience with this facility has been abyssmal and I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for treatment!

I have had issues with billing and insurance. I will admit that being late has caused issues for myself. I recieve text reminders and calls. Which does not happen today at other places. That is such a blessing. I am very grateful for Mind and Body. I didn't have a choice last year to go to therapy and to see a nurse practioner for medication management. I now choose this place for treatment and recommend. There will be things that needed to be addressed. I loved the support groups on Fridays. Learned so much like attending college classes with Kristin. That needed to be put into practice daily. It is what you make of it. I have heard success stories. Trial and error. Find out for yourself if this place is right for you.

I don't have any problems when it comes to the medication management but when it comes to therapy...that's where the issue it. Originally had one therapist....had 3 sessions with her. She canceled minutes before my appt. She said she would reschedule. Waited two weeks...called the front desk only to find out she left. Had to fill out a transfer request. That took 3 weeks to get done. Had an appt with someone else.... got a call 25 minutes before my appt saying there was a conflict of interest and I had to make an appt with someone else. Well called intake 3 days no call. I called and spoke to supervisor. Apparently she works for my insurance company?? That doesn't make any sense..Idk about that but don't you think this should be looked at ahead of time?? Well now I'm no longer a patient.

UPDATE AT END - You're not going to believe this one folks. UPDATE 2 AT THE END I wish I could give a zero. I called today to pay for a telehealth I have tomorrow. I was told I had a previous balance, 1/3 of which had to be collected before I could see the doctor. I've only been to the practice 1 time in the last 3 years, and have proof of payment for that visit. When I asked what this balance was for they were unable to tell me, but reiterated that I had to pay 1/3, in addition to my co-pay. I asked to speak to the manager who had just told the very kind lady on the phone to relay the message to me and she was now magically unavailable. Who is going to pay a bill that a provider cannot show any proof is owed? UPDATE - Received a voice-mail from billing. Apparently I'm being charged a DOUBLE CO-PAY because of the provider they set me up with. Total scam. UPDATE 2 - Thank you Lisa for your response. Given the voicemail I received from your employee Emily, this additional fee was not due to additional fees due for a previous appointment, but for a change to a telehealth appointment with the doctor your office assigned to me. That raises a couple questions: 1 - Why was I not told this was a possibility when I requested the change in appointment? Has your staff been trained to understand this is a possibility? 2 - When I had my initial appointment with the Dr. Chua (which I was told MUST be in person) I found myself sitting in room waiting for the doctor, who then appeared on a monitor for, dare I say, a telehealth appointment. Why is this different than meeting in my car, or at my home? Other than the fact I had to take 3 hours off of work to attend, I see no other difference. If you are claiming I owe for a telehealth appointment on 7/26, according to your staff I had an IN-PERSON VISIT. If you are implying this is a balance due for tomorrow's appointment, that visit was cancelled, and I currently would not entertain the possibility of patronizing your practice. Nor would I recommend you to anyone I know. Furthermore, I've checked with my insurance and I've met my obligation according to them. However, they are stating your billing department did not submit the claim properly. Feel free to call me for further clarification.

If you are traveling West on Loockerman St, after you cross State St you will turn right as soon as you can into a small, one-way alley. You'll see the parking lot for Mind & Body on the right.
