I got up early today, December 30, 2021, to go to the Edgewood Public Library to get a COVID home test kit. The library was to open at 10:00 am. I got there at 9:00 am. There were already at least 100 - 150 people in line. It was raining, but the temperature was tolerable. By 9:45 there were at least 300 people in line, a lot of them seniors. While we were in line, I witnessed a person knock on the back door of the library and get handed a test kit. Finally, at 10:00 the line started moving. Within several minutes, the line started disbursing when the library employees said they only had 50 kits. WHAT A JOKE! Why didn’t a representative from the library come out and let people know they only had 50 kits instead of leaving everyone standing in the rain for nothing. Plus, the library started handing them out at the drive-up window which was not given as an option in the Facebook announcement. Very poorly done. Why would this be announced if there were only 50 kits? I also heard that Joppa only had 20. The Health Department definitely needs to coordinate and handle these giveaways in a much more efficient manner during these troubling times.

Health department was called about expired meat being served in Hartford county detention center. They called the jail and told them of the complaint but NEVER went out. Definitely needs reviews from our government

I had a recent scheduling issue pertaining to getting the COVID vaccine for me and my husband. I spoke with two of the nicest women who were so compassionate and understanding of my situation and frustration. These two women took their time and went out of their way to correct the issue. It was so refreshing to get such good quality customer service. Thank you ladies!!
