I'm not sure why there's bad reviews but I guess it depends on your case. I have had a great experience with them so far with my case. Cathy is great, there was also another guy I talked to twice I forgot his name he was also great. ( Wish I could remember his name) Then I talked to The lawyer twice and none of them ever gave me any issues or made me think they didn't care. They really work with you. If I ever had another issue I would most definitely ask them to represent me again and I would recommend them to anyone in need of legal advice. Good job Law office of Peter T Nichols.. You have my vote.

Why do you need a tax id for an asbestos case? Have trouble cashing checks and do not own business.

Technically you must show proper id to many banks to cash or deposit a check. Banks decide whether they will accept identification without a social security number or tax id number. Tax id numbers are usually obtained by persons in business, while others not in business typically use other forms of identification when dealing with a bank and the bank's rules.
