My husband car was stolen from in front of our house yesterday morning. I went there for a report, even though the process was to go though 911. They helped me to bypass that and even made phone calls to expedite the process. Later at night they found the car. Even though it was not in great condition but it could be worse. To be honest I didn't expect anything to happen, or even to get any updates. But it took less than 12h to get the car back Officer Ramos and his partner were supper helpful and understanding.

With everything going on in the world it's nice to know that I can rely on the police officers of the 26th District. They were called several times in the same day due to one person terrorizing my block. Every time they came out they were very kind and made sure we were all safe. This review is especially for the last officer who came by in the evening and made me feel safe enough to actually get some much needed sleep. Many thanks!

26th District Police Officers were at my house, 6 of them in 2 minutes, really 2 minutes!! after I called when the alarm went off at my house at 2 AM and I thought I heard burglars downstairs. I was embarrassed when they told me they thought it was a battery in a smoke alarm, but I am handicapped and I was afraid. They were very gracious and assured me I did the right thing. You can be sure I am delivering goodies to them! They deserve them! THANK YOU OFFICERS!!!

Call 311, the non-emergency police number, to file a police report. Tell the cops everything that happened. If you know the identities of those who made the threat, tell the cops. You should have filed a report immediately. Keep in mind that Philly has a crooked, incompetent police department, so it is always a risk whenever you interact with them. You could end up being falsely arrested! You should always use your phone to record everyone and everything when in public. There are free apps available that allow you to record directly to a website, just in case a criminal (such as a corrupt cop) steals your phone while you are recording his crime. Officer Eric Burke is well known for doing that dirty deed. For years, I have used a combination tear gas and pepper spray to defend myself against dog attacks. If possible, spray the dog where nobody else can see, such as behind a car or bush. You are always in the right if the attacking dog is not on a leash and off its property.
