I started BJJ w/ Sergio a few weeks ago and I can tell you … this place is PERFECT if you are looking for a friendly, fun and high energetic Jiu Jitsu classes. You learn a lot and have fun at the same time. I’m about to enroll my daughter soon as well … I highly recommend Bell Air BJJ.

Questions & Answers

I am looking for a place in Harford county that teaches kids how to defend themself with a blade, especially small blades. I guess that would be Filipino martial arts? Do you teach this or know of any place, if you do not?

They do not teach Filipino Martial Arts here you'd need to look for a school that teaches Kali I believe there's one in Rosedale I think I'm not familiar with any of those schools or reputations.

Is it legal or ethical for a fighter to use his skills when in an altercation with someone not versed in those techniques? I was given to understand that the skills of an MMA fighter were not to be used on the street.

Every person who is trained in fighting should have the discipline to use that skill responsibly, and should only use it to protect themselves or others and with clear warning. That being said, the coaching staff at this gym lives out that idea and are passing it on to the students they teach.
