I had a wonderful experience at Parke Laurel Apartments. Agent Specialist David is amazing and knowledgeable about the leasing process. The office and maintenance staffs were very friendly. When I needed the maintenance repairs it was taken care of within a day of my inital request. Ms. Karen C. and Ms Francis were so helpful. I loved using the gym it was so nice to have on site. I enjoyed my time at Parke Laurel.

Lewis, the maintenance supervisor is the best. He does his absolute best to take care of any request made. If there is any issue he does everything in his power to make sure it’s resolved. Even outside of maintenance he is very friendly and has good relationship with tenants and their families.

I have lived in this community for 22 years and I have generally had a great service from the maintenance team. My last service just blew my mind because of the seriousness, timelines an thoroughness of the execution by this particular maintenance man, Mr. Romeo Lewis. I have known Mr. Lewis for almost as long as I have been in the community and I have come to know him as a very deligent, polite and friendly gentleman. No doubt he is the longest serving member of the team.

I lived at parke laurel for two years and overall the experience was alright. Living on the top floor does allow you more peace than other floors. The biggest problems are the lack of updates in the apartments. The carpet is super old, the paint used is very cheaper and easy to scuff, the appliances are over a decade old, the knobs are all loose and in bad shape, the washer/dryer are not full size( you will need to go to the laundry mat for queen size duvets/comforters or bigger), the noise level due to thin walls and floors can be annoying, the smells from other apartments require an air purifier to keep your home fresh, get reserved parking otherwise you will not have any, not all of the outlets in your apartment will work and maintenance will only fix a select few, and beware of the parking on the street( cars stay getting damaged). Now for the good things: I didn’t see any pests living on the top floor, again reserved parking is worth the 40 dollars( make sure to have the tow company on speed dial though), maintenance is hit or miss (I’ve come home to a dirty bathroom due to them multiple times and they refuse to take their shoes off leading to dirty carpet), large bedroom and multiple closets, large balcony, and generally nice neighbors that won’t bother you. Would I move back again, no. But it’s a good first apartment.
