Absolutely thee worst police department ever. Good luck tryna serve someone or get a confirmation or an update they don’t communicate a darn thing with you. Months went by and I still haven’t heard anything.

This police department is unprofessional, ineffective, and completely unreliable. We had an issue with a stray dog around our home and they practically refused to do anything about it. Instead, they would prefer to converse with other people about the status of our home and how we should be grateful enough not to be complaining about a dog. When our safety is at risk in yeadon, this police department cannot be counted on. It’s a shame.

William B. Evans Elementary School right across the street & not too far from it down 1 block go left to another block is 9th Grade Pennwood Highschool part of William Penn School District. The rest of the grades is at what they call the Green Campus down past Union Avenue & Stewart Avenue crossroads. Just to be clear they are both all public schools. Non-parochial / non-private schools. Not no specific religion. No uniform / private dress codes either.
🏎️💨 You can mail it in 📩 in-person & if for some reason they close to the public that day / some other reason they have a blue USPS box residing right along the pathway of the Yeadon Borough Hall 🌲🌲🌲🏗️🏫🌲🌲🌲 & the crossroads sign of Church Lane & Baily Road there is a 🗑️ garbage can right beside it to the right between the post box ☦️street signs. It points towards the Quality Gas Station ⛽🚖🕺🏽🚖💃🏽⛽ diagonally across the street. On the other side of Conoco Gas Station (once was Lukoil) ⛽🚘🚶🏽♂️🚘🚶🏽♀️⛽ across the street from William B. Evans Elementary 🚸 (public) School. 🌲🌲🌲 🏣🌲🌲🌲
Same here my grandsons bike was confiscated by police. His mother was cohersed into pleading guilty, with threats of incarceration and was given 2yrs. Probation for riding her younger child on bike/$600 “TOY MOTORCYCLE.,, The judge stipulated property is to be returned to the defendant, The police department by orders of the current Chief of Police are still currently telling her he is not in and that she cannot get the $600 motorcycle back to my 6 yr. old grandson. Now her public defender is graciously helping her by getting this “hearing “ the police are telling her is required of said property? Also she was informed by various persons within Yeadon official and non that confiscated properties !!!!not kept properly, tampered with, and damaged IF returned !!! I am scared and worried in reguards to the safety of anyone, when trying to operate the bike especially a 6 yr. old child. Good luck with getting your property returned I will add you in my prayers. My grandson is heartbroken.
