In-humane...letting elderly people literally starve to death - no I.V. fluids or artificial nutrition! Looked like a closet they had my dad in - and yes, they allowed Regency Hospice to starve my dad to death, saying "Well, he has a DNR." Do you NOT know what a DNR is? What it means? What it entails? May every single one of you who had their hands in this, including Dr. Kathryn Blocker, rot for all eternity for the neglect, the in-humane treatment, the outright cruelness that you all put my dad through!

Their ER is great. Caring people who work efficiently together. Upper management is very responsive to patient concerns. I wouldn't recommend going there for any outpatient lab work or radiology though. They do use radiologist & other service providers who are not in network and I got surprise bills for more than my co-pay I'd already paid.

Such nice staff in the ER. Went in because my daughter’s new ear piercing was embedded in her ear lobe. Not a super long wait. Doctor was attentive and one of the nurses came in to help get the ear ring out. No pain, no fuss. We’ve been coming to Hiawassee for over 15 years from Central Florida and love the mountain air and mountain hospitality. That hospitality was front and center at this hospital - Thank you!!!

Excellent front staff at emergency department courteous and professional. Wait time less than 30 minutes and nursing staff very well trained and polite. Doctor was prompt to evaluate and trrat my injury and overall great experience aside …
