Walt Eger Service Center was able to fix an issue with my vehicle in less than 24 hours that my dealer could not fix after multiple visits over 6 weeks. Walt Eger is my new go to for any vehicle service work.

I'm NOT satisfied with this place at all, I've had the check engine light On in my car, so I went to this place to get a diagnosis and get the issue resolved so I could be able to pass my emission inspection, SO after the diagnosis, parts (2 sensors), and labor, the check engine light came back right On again an hour later on the highway, so I took my car back because they told me that I had 3500 miles warranty, so scheduled an appointment for the following day at 9am and had my car dropped off, and then they called me back at 4:40pm to pick up my car again, and when I started driving my car 2 minutes later the check engine light came up, so up to now I have the check engine light still On, and I've lost the $990 that I was charged. I have no knowledge about cars mechanical issues, and I am sure that I can do better work than that.

Walt Eger's Service Center was fantastic. They give out a detailed report, along with pictures, regarding every problem on with your car. It was about $200 for clarity of all of my problems. Go to Walt Eger's for inspections and boy they will inspect. However for repairs they are extremely pricey. If you don't know better you might spend thousands of dollars here when you could go somewhere else and receive the same service for a third to half the price.

Yep, found my new repair shop for my 2002 CRV Honda. Excellent customer service - I had everything explained to me and was able to decide with the technician which items were critical and needed to be fixed now and which could wait to fit within my budget.

Hi Lynnette - I don't see the date on your question, but Walt sold the shop to me (Bruce Spencer) in 2016 and has retired to Tennessee...happily I might add. His health is great and he is "living off the land". If we have not had a chance to meet, please call or stop by. I drive the shuttle so we can catch up on a ride home or to work! Take care.

Hey I have a 89 box Chevy and I need a good solid mechanic that can take care of my car on the regular. Do you all fix on old cars like that?

Anthony Johnson | Oct 19, 2020
Walt Eger's Service Center | Oct 19, 2020

Hi Anthony - We have worked on older vehicles in the past. Let's have a discussion about it to see if it makes sense for both of us. Please call the shop at (410) 519-8445. Thanks for asking.

Can I have my repair order signed over there or does it have to be done by the mechanic who fixed my car?

Landry Kouajiep | Oct 19, 2020
Walt Eger's Service Center | Oct 19, 2020

A repair order needs to be signed by a Maryland Safety Inspector or by the Maryland State Police. It does not have to be completed by the mechanic who performed the work. Hope this helps.

I see that the owner, Bruce, checks the Google reviews so I hope he sees this question. I have a 1984 Chevy S10 Blazer that has an electrical issue. Do you work on older trucks like this one?

Nicholas Bartolotta | Oct 20, 2019
