The work environment in this place is terrible (Healthy Families America) The management care mostly about numbers and very little about the families. Very sad to see how many social agencies play the numbers game over ethics and compassion. Some of the Support Workers do care for their families, but their management is terrible, they barely receive the support they need to be of true help to the families they "serve". The leadership from the VP its appreciated also some of the nurses and PT's are great team players. Many new employees leave the job in less than a year due to the work environment and the lack of respect to new employees by some of the "seasoned" employees. Also, this branch, compared to other branches is severely underpay and no one cares. They should care, if their employees are getting paid fairly , maybe they would go to work with a better attitude and server their families better. HFA have a great curriculum , it should be shared with families the right way.

I chose Holy Redeemer for my father to receive therapy at home and I truly regret that I did. Roxanne (Nurses supervisor) and Jean (Therapist supervisor) leave a lot to be desired. Very unprofessional supervisors and they truly lack compassion. They just go through the motion and all they care about is getting paid by the insurance company. I honestly thought that the two therapists that spent several months treating my dad truly cared for him but I realized that it was just business for them as well, because when I called to inform them of my father's passing, they didn't even call to offer any condolences and nor did the people who represent Holy Redeemer. I honestly would never recommend this place. If you do choose this place, prepare to be treated like just another number. The only person that truly showed compassion through out was a nurse named Franz.

I had them on/off 3 years, I went out twice in more than 26 months (vaccine). I had service up to month long hospitalization, my heart was stopping Nurse Andrea came knocking I was experiencing semi conscious state,with food delivery at front door asked neighbors to call PD for welfare check and left. They said I’m no longer accept for services “I went shopping all the time not home bound! I was dying needed emergency pacemaker. Symptoms for 3-4 months. Stay away Imho I agree with John Herndon I had PT once a week. They continually changed appointment times except Lolly OT. I had home health aid who refused to come in house because of my cat “she allergic” lies, they never told me animals need to be put away yet cat hair is your home. She should never have been hired. Read John’s review I agree with everything.
