Best thing to do: Go directly to Bldg. 76, located on North Boundary Rd. @ JFK. (elevator to Fl. 2) Dress to impress, bring your resume, original IDs (airport ID if you already have one, license, SS card, birth cert./naturalization/green card, passport, and Disposition, if you have a criminal record). They will give you all the info there on schedule availability, salary, etc. But the process is easiest if you're super prepared. Lots of good people on the job.
Depends on a few things... It could a week, perhaps two. It could be shorter if you're already employed at the airport, carry the proper documents for your interview, criminal record, etc.
