The staff in the emergency room are exactly rude and disrespectful. They were no help 6 hours in the emergency room and I haven’t been seen by one doctor ! Horrible experience

Trash. Basura. Garbage. Their staff have no etiquette or bedside manner. Don’t come here unless you’re ready to waste your time and get worse. My grandfather got covid from this hospital and they didn’t feed him for hours on end and had us waiting 8+ hours on medication that should have been administered on a schedule. I experienced a CNA LAUGH at a senior patient.

If I could rate this place negative stars I would. The RN and staff there are incredibly rude and disrespectful. One of the RNs there name Jessica C was very rude and was talking to me as if I was deaf and proceeded to give me an attitude. I Waited here for 7 hours. This is the worst hospital I’ve ever been to. Please teach these members some etiquette and patient Service skills

Maybe 3 years ago they didn't have it but now you can watch a lot channels for free.

You can walk out whenever you want which would be against medical advice unless you are formally discharged by your physician but the baby has to be discharged by the pediatrician. You can't just take your baby and walk out whenever you please.

The closest L&D hospital to Valley Stream LIJ is Katz I think, but if you do call for labour you're more than likely to be transported to your nearest hospital
15B on Southern State Parkway toward Valley Stream and probably less than 1 mile from exit
Depends on what time you get there, if it's busy time and they are under staff or lack of doctors on duty..then most likely you will attended and discharge by a PA (physician assistant) .. so good luck with that
Visiting hours are 24hr. Anytime. Just register with security in the lobby
They'll take you the only difference is that you're gonna have to pay out of pocket for your visit
