We went about two weeks ago and had a blast. There were many children in all ages and it was safe. As long as you are right there next to them. My son is 7 and 4'7 so hes a bit tall but played with no problem. Would recommend water shoes because of the rocks.

Don't have it in an obvious container. Put it in something concealed, your yeti or whatever closed cup. It's a family area so just keep it on the low and don't get loud or crazy.

No entrance fee, BBQ grills, and there is a picnic area with overhead shade. It does require rental fee and time advance notice. Recommended for 30+ party. They also have a mini train tour of the park with fees according to age.

When I went by there today I saw people sitting outside waiting for the pool to open I didn't stay long enough to see if they went in but it was a good size line waiting

I am not sure if it's open on Memorial Day. It is free for kids under 3 years old, 3-12 years old it's $5, 13-59 years old it's $6, 60 years old and up is $5 ,and spectator is $2 ,but on weekend's are $2 more for entry.

There aren't any places to swim in the river at Landa Park, there is a spring fed watering hole that you can swim in, but if you're wanting to swim in the actual river I would suggest Prince Solms Park or Cypress Bend.

The question is about landa park its the comal spring s not the gyadalupe river and good fishing is off the dock or rent a boat and fish the point off the island
