No parking fee. Park has lot of parking spots

Yes. There are tons of grills to use

The time is August 2022 - I heard Merill Park in Colonia, NJ has been closed and the animals are being relocated.

I don't think so there are different groves where u can setup picnic. it is first come first serve basis

Yes excellent choice beautiful park

Our St John Vianney Secular FRanciscan Fraternity would like to use the park, with the shelter if possible or Grove 2 on Sept 13 from 1 pm to 4 pm. Do we need permission or apply to use the park, we are a small group about 10 to12.

You will need a reservation for sure, however if anyone who had actually reserved a groove does not turn up by 11 a.m. then the park ranger will allow whoever comes first to occupy. As stated by someone above the groove next to the zoo does not need reservation. also remember you're not allowed to drive in the back Lanes of this groove.
