In February 2018, you expressed your concern that our treatment program was "worse than any drug dealer". By definition, a drug dealer is "a person who sells illegal drugs". Stevenson Recovery provides a legal medication that helps replace the unhealthy dependency of previously abused substances. Sadly, the misconception of "money over rules patients" creates stigmas in the community that our main objective is profit, not patient care. Though it takes money to keep our doors open, the greater disparity to those who truly benefit from our program and services, would be our doors closing. However, we thank you for your honesty. It is our plan and goal that we hope to continue to focus on patient change (recovery), rather than the misreport that we focus primarily on patient payments.
