Beautiful and isolated location, I absolutely will be returning. We parked at the campground and did a small out and back hike along Lost Creek going clockwise on the Lost Creek Wilderness loop (note that most people had recommend counterclockwise for the full loop). The road from the highway back to the campground is corrugated so prepare for a bumpy 20 miles back to the parking lot.

Absolutely amazing!

We hiked the Lost Creek Wilderness Loop with group of Scouts in place of Philmont, which had Ute Park Fire. Did 4 days, 3 nights. Challenging but awesome hike. Everyone enjoyed the Wilderness area

Solitude, plain and simple. Add to that great fishing and opportunities for remote hiking and camping that aren't overly processed or developed, and you have a rare experience, indeed.

No hook-ups but the sites do have long enough parking areas for a 26ft at most I would say.
There is a well with a hand pump. I was there in June 2019. I did not try the pump however, so I can't say whether it was working.
Not that I know. I believe trails are for hikers only.
Payment is required only if you are using the campground. There are two free parking areas outside of the campground for people to use.
You will need to check that counties restrictions, I believe it is park county. I would say yes. It was a couple of days ago.
Check with the forestry service to be sure
