I don't regret buying my 2018 Impala, I just regret buying it from here. I knew more about the vehicle than he did which should've been a red flag but it was my 1st time buying a car. That was my mistake. The customer service sucks. It was great when they were selling me the vehicle as expected but once I had the keys and left, I've been on my own. I dealt with Johnny Garcia, who is the general manager here, and he gave me his direct line to call in case I had any issues. The car itself has been great and I love it but I've had trouble getting my phone calls answered and he's forgotten who I am so many times that it's embarrassing at this point. I feel like I was just a sale and not a part of the family like they tried to sell. I told them I would go pick up my plates when they were ready and they said that was fine and they would even install them here but I never received a phone call. I called up here to get an update to see if they ever came in and he said he didn't know and that he'd get back to me. Never did. Called the next day and he said he had a call and asked for my number so he could call me back. Hours later and still no call back. The next day, I call and he doesn't remember who I am so I tell him. He's unaware of my license plates so he says he'll check to see if they're in and call me back. Of course by now you've probably caught on to what happens next. NO CALL BACK! So I call the next trying to be patient with these people but I've had enough. I can't wait to receive my plates so I can be done with these people. I will never go back and will definitely recommend friends and family to NOT go here if they ever need a vehicle.

Service department is ridiculous. Purchased a battery for our vehicle & they didn't have it in the system, thankfully we had the receipt. Once we provided the receipt they said I would have to wait 4 days to get the battery switched. That put it over the top....the other problem we have had is that my husband purchased his truck and the truck was brand new no miles. Now the truck has 40,000 mile and the transmission has given out twice since we purchased it. Serviced both times at Don Elliot. I don't understand how they are still running a business.

I had a great experience at Don Elliot Autoworld! The sales people and the manager were wonderful. I live 2 hours away from Wharton, so I did all the negotiating by email and telephone with the manager. He was very accommodating, and worked really hard to help me get the car financed with the loan payments I needed each month for a pretty good interest rate. I placed a deposit for the car since I wasn't able to come get it til' the weekend. When I came, I overpaid my down payment, and the manger called me shortly after I left the dealership to let me know that I overpaid and that he'll be mailing me the refund. It's so refreshing to know good, honest people work at car dealerships! I highly recommend this dealership and would come back again if needed!

This is the first dealership in Wharton County that was HAPPY & EAGER to service my vehicle, even if it wasn't purchased here! Teresa, in the Service Dept., and her co workers always find a way to work me in and get me to and from work. I have always gotten service with a smile as well as efficient scheduling. Its refreshing from what I have found in the negative and unfriendly dealerships in El Campo! They are a 10 STAR in my ratings!
