Hi Mike This excerpt is from one of their manuals Use 4-stroke motor oil that meets MOW-30 or exceeds the requirements for API service classification SF or SG. SAE 10W-30 is recommended for general, all-temperature. The operator’s/instructior’s manual for that unit should have a chart of recommended viscosities. Honda does not mention synthetic oil for their engines. I hope this helps.

Hi Rick, There are a number of reasons that could cause your generator to not start. The store is open from 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday and you can drop it off to have it evaluated and repaired.

Unfortunately, not seeing the cable or cable ends, I’m not real sure which ones you’re referring to. We generally do not have cable or cable ends in stock. It may be best or easiest to take it to a hardware store such as Ace Hardware or Home Depot.

Honda recommends 10W-30 for general use with API Service category of SJ or later.

Hello We are an authorized Honda Power Equipment dealer. If the generator is a Honda brand generator, then yes, we can help. Some manufacturers will use a Honda engine with their own generator head. Which we can only get parts for the engine in that case. We would need the frame model and serial number in order to look up the correct parts.
