They took me back earlier than my scheduled appointment and the tech that performed my procedure was amazing. He was caring and explained everything in detail.

Was seen 45 minutes after appointment time. Staff not friendly.

My MRI was a closed one. Sorry I couldn't give you the answer you were looking for.
Yes. Bone density (densitometry) or DEXA scans or bone densitometry use a minute dose of x-ray to evaluate bone density. Often several parts of the body are tested including the spine, hip and sometimes the wrist. The exam is noninvasive and takes about 10 minutes. The bone density scan measurements are compared to a larger population and are evaluated for bone loss including more severe bone loss known as osteoporosis. The bone loss can make someone more susceptible to fractures. These measurements are often done repeatedly to check for worsening and to see the response to treatment.
I've always been lucky going 1st thing in the morning when they open.
They take care of the patients that have appts first n they also do bone density testing first as well. They dont start taking xray patients til abt 9am, but if you don't sign in at 8am n come in at 9 then you may have a longer wait too, not sure how that is right either, thats the explanation I've been given, don't make sense, but that is how their cookie crumbles in their office. Its not the staffing fault that a management thing. Your only as good as your management....
Yes they do, no appt, just drop in. First come first served
There are no appointments for X-rays. Walk-in basis only. Not sure if they are open on Saturdays, but if you go, better be there as soon as they open. I went at around 11 and there was a waiting time of 4 hrs.
I believe they do them M-F, but you can't schedule an appointment. I have tried a few times and the wait was always 45 minutes + and finally I just decided to wait. So bring something to read!
8am
