I’ve had the worst experience here. The server, George was less than welcoming. The food itself was good but lacked flavor in certain dishes. The crispy eggplant had a truffle cream but seriously only tasted like cream. We asked for a recommendation for wine for the Bolognese and George said a Chardonnay would be nice. What kind of a restaurant recommends a white wine with a meat based pasta? To top it off, my SO lost his wallet in the restaurant. Mind you, we had to show our ID earlier for the wine and when we asked George for help, he said maybe it’s in the car? He provided no actual help and just talked to the other servers about it. We called multiple times later to see for any updates and they still haven’t gotten back to us. We asked if maybe they grabbed it when cleaning up the table & threw it away & they wouldn’t clarify if they checked the trash or not. I’m extremely frustrated with their lack of care.

One of the top Italian restaurants in all of Tampa tucked away here in Channelside. They have outdoor bar and tables which we love. The owner Michael Buttacavoli is an excellent chef (he beat Bobby Flay with an awesome looking meatball parm sub). Our go to spot for mid/high level dining in this area.

Good food. Eggplant appetizer was excellent. The short rib risotto was good but there was a mushy factor to the rice where there was not broth which was odd.

Yes this is, the other answers are technically correct, but John Cena actually does own the parenting company that owns this particular restaurant. John Cena carries the majority of the ownership of the Grand Central food group that creates one off restaurants that deliver exemplary examples of foods from different countries that John Cena has been to (this particular restaurant serves Italian style dishes). You can read about him teaming up with the Grand Central group in his autobiography "I never back down, I never quit". There is also a small section a few chapters before that tells about how he got the idea to create one off restaurants, and how he came up with the idea for this particular restaurant while he was in Italy (yes, it had to do with someone confusing his last name with "dinner". It's actually well written, and it's a fantastic read.
The garage has easy access to Cena. Park near elevator bank A, it is the closest to the restaurant.
