Great place to stay! Marty and her staff are great too! Love the southern hospitality. Right on a private beach with chairs and umbrellas & beach supplies. It's a small older property that has been updated over the years. The rooms are clean with beautiful views.

If the only thing you care for is being ocean front, then go ahead and book here. Beware you may book thinking you will be staying at the Anna Maria Island Dream Inn but they may have you stay at Bamboo. They own several other hotels and are able to place you in any of them. The parking is limited. The rooms are super dated. It is one thing to know you will be staying in a dated room but it's another thing to walk into a room that is not ready for you. The bathroom floor was full of bathroom scum, the utensils were dirty with food from the previous people, the bed sheets were stained, the floors had mold, I did not feel safe. I booked 2 different rooms and both were in the same fashion. The stove was not working, the refrigerator was rusted, the balcony smelled like urine. Needless to say we stayed one night and the following morning we were forced to look for another hotel. Thankfully we found one and left the next day before 3 pm. I complained at the front desk that the rooms were not up to par with expectation and I was told that a refund is not possible. The units are privately owned and the lady at the front desk told me she was going to send an email to both owners of the units we paid for C18 and C19. I was going to be CC'd on the email, this never happened. I emailed the hotel asking for a refund of the 6 nights, I was willing to pay for the one night, nothing. Yes the staff is friendly but this does not cut it. Owners need to take accountability.

Place is nice and cleaned but needs TLC. Worst part was they didn't honor price quoted during reservations.

My husband and my Daughter's family always go to the Island of Anna Marie, I took my children and my mother each year at Tax time and we always stayed at the motel 6 for over 8 years, then our lives got busy when my grandchild was born then 2 more grandchildren, and years go by while my husband and I started going to Florida and renting homes on the Island for us 2, my daughter and family went to deferent parts of Florida but, this year 2022, my daughter and I planned a vacation together and she found Anna Marie Island Dream Inn, and by asking questions while booking or stay she learned this Hotel was the same Hotel that I Took them to for 10 years, we where thrilled to know and to stay in a familiar place when she was younger and now sharing this with her Family and it's not a Fancy place on the beach, but it felt like home with updates added and ther staff is so nice and anything we needed or wanted they did their best to get it done, we will be back,
