Second Baptist is racist, no doubt. My wife and I attended last Sunday for my birthday in full suit and dress attire. No one said hello, and they glared at you as if you did not belong. The service as so sterile. After service, I literally had to bump my way out of the pews, and make way for my wife. Few arrived in church attire or attitude.

I was born and raised in this church and went for 13 years, amazing church all around. Great Bible study for all ages, good preachers with even better sermons, anything a good place of worship should have. I was even baptized by one of the preachers! However, if you just so happen to be a queer individual you ARE NOT welcome. When I came out I was greeted with unfairness and rudeness by the people I had been around my whole life. I was a devoted Christian my whole life and the interactions I have had with staff and church-goers turned me into a non-believer. I’ve had friends who had colored skin go to this church and leave after years of racism by staff and peers.

This church has impacted my life so much in an amazing way. I've grown so much as a young Christian who just rekindled their faith, all thanks to Second Baptist. If you're new to the area and are looking for a church to go to and be welcomed and accepted, come to Second Baptist. Environment is also amazing and I've never had any issues here.

I tried..i couldn't get past the receptionist. We have had other churches help us out in the past....i can't seem to get to the right person. Thanks for the comment though. I use to teach swans there several years ago.

They offer Wednesday programs for all ages thru the school year. I believe that they suspend them over the summer.

Yes, they do. It's on Wednesdays at 6:00pm. From what I've seen, It is the largest program of all the campuses that offer it.
