This is one of the most awesome subdivision parks in the USA! I mean it! It is HUGE and VERY NICE! It has a gorgeous filtered lake that is stocked with fish! It has a concrete retaining wall at ground level the full perimeter of the lake with an overflow weir for constant elevation! The lake has a wood dock with a built-in bench and plenty of space for lounge chairs you can bring with you! It has a Frisbee golf course! It has wide concrete walking trails the full lake perimeter and beyond, with rest benches and picnic tables dispersed throughout! It has 2 fenced dog parks -- separate for small and large dogs! It has a manicured softball field with backstop, team benches, aluminum bleachers, and bases! It has a couple of manicured soccer fields with framed goals! It has 2 children's areas with nice play equipment and picnic tables and sizable covered pavilions! The lake is usually populated with several types of ducks according to their migratory patterns! All of this is tastefully integrated with beautiful White Oak Bayou winding along one side! Be sure to see the variety of turtles, fish, tadpoles, and exotic birds (egrets, swans, etc.) in this pristine bayou! And everything is meticulously maintained and regulated by MUD 222! What an awesome feature of our beloved Wortham Villages subdivision!

There is a sign by the trail that says "Wortham Trail: Residents and Invited Guests Only." I don't know if there are signs by the park that are next to the trail.
