I have lived in Avenue Station since 2016. I had mold in my apartment unit previously and someone name Cheryl Cotton from corporate was very nice and accommodating with getting me switched to another unit. Since then I have not had any other major problems until recently. I received correspondence from Avenue CDC a year ago (December 2020) that construction would begin at the complex. A year later (November 2021) they began construction WITHOUT ANY NOTICE. I literally came home from work and the walls were demolished in my apartment my things were damaged and in a disarray. I spoke with someone at Avenue CDC whom was on the initial correspondence I received in December 2020 named Alan Maynie who was very argumentative, dismissive, and non-empathetic. I mean you literally demolished my apartment with no regards for my belongings....I've contacted the Houston Apartment Association and Channel 13's Ted Oberg. Hopefully they're able to assist. I also contacted the property manager Vanessa to no avail.
