This REI is a great place to look for anything for your outdoors, camping, hiking, mountain climbing, biking, and other recreations. It’s clean, organized, and has wide selections of almost everything you essentially need for an outdoor experience. They also have re-supply (or slightly used) stuff for those who wants to save money on shoes and other stuff. There is a membership here, although anyone can walk in and buy gears needed for outdoor activities and the like.

Has one of the best customer and return policies that I’ve ever seen. The co-op business model for outdoor equipment is also very unique and I haven’t seen it elsewhere. Offers free and paid events and classes. Some stores have bike repair shops and some have boat rentals options

What are you looking for? I have personally taken "intro to Backpacking" and "wilderness survival". These were 1 hr classes. One at their store, the other at a local park. They also offer classes such as stand up paddle board (SUP), learn to ride a bicycle for kids, and trip planning (for example through hiking the Appalachian Trail). Some classes are free and some classes require a fee.
These questions are generally answered by Google Guides like myself, so unless one of us knows on a daily basis it's better to call in.
