Took 2 old tube TV’s down to 3001 Railroad St. - they took both of them for around $10.00

I had easy access to getting rid of All my cases of my Pandemic legacy Yingling beer bottles but glass was on the ground everywhere and I might wake up to a flat tire tomorrow. Also you can't see if someone else parks on the other side of the glass dumpster so when a person opened the latch door on the other side that I didn't know, I had bottles already in the air flying almost causing him to get hit with sharded glass.

It doesn’t get any easier!

Yes on Wednesdays and Sundays for a fee call 311 for more information and times
They do not. This isn't a facility of any kind. It's a series of labeled dumpsters all together in one spot.
Go to the city of Pittsburgh website: pittsburghpa.gov. Go to the section on recycling, or search "recycle tires." The city has 3 recycling drop off centres. All 3 will take tires A maximum of 2 tires per day can be dropped off at any one of those drop off centers.. I know one is in the strip district by the 31st street bridge.
It's free-just break down all cardboard flat by the way. Fills up fast in all recycle dumpsters.
Insulation is not accepted at this drop off site
Probably not. It's just got bins for regular recycling like glass, plastic, cardboard, etc.
Those types are not typically recyclable, in my experience. The outside of the bin mentioned only bottles & jars, I think. It is a location with no people working, it's open 24 hours & drop in the correct bins yourself.
i work there, you can get a list during business hours
Absolutely no gas products it's a recycling center for cardboard, plastic bottles, glass bottles
Any type of electronics you need to call and schedule an appointment. There's a small fee. The drop off center doesn't accept them otherwise, just glass, plastics, paper, aluminum, and cardboard
It's $0.25 per pound for a non-CRT flat screen TV
They do gotta make appointment
Yes. Appointment only, though.
Thank you Matthew. I’m new to PGH. Just dropped off styrofoam at Appliance Warehouse! Worth the effort. Thanks again!
Do you take motor oil and anti freeze?
They are not accepted... Check with a restaurant you know well. Most have a grease barrel.
Make an appointment at https://app.acuityscheduling.com/schedule.php?owner=11971277&appointmentType=9074268 and pay by the pound to recycle.
If it's mostly plastic I don't see why not.
I dont think that's possible, but you could call them and ask
I believe you cannot. However here's the link to the city services website: https://pittsburghpa.gov/dpw/drop-off
You can put them out with your garbage we will take it just like it is
No
No you cannot drop off your your debris here
I'm pretty sure it is. I'm not sure what time of the day the bins are the most full but you can call 311 to be sure.
Yes. Glass...plastic...cardboard...and paper
No, there's no metal recycling there.
They take the usual recyclables: cardboard, glass, etc. For old style tv's I found a place on the south side about 3 or 4 years ago called evolution recycling at 2235 Mary St. I don't know if they are still in business but I got rid of a 35" Sony and they charged me $.85@#. 4123903450. Beyond that cal the city@311 and see what the latest it changes all the time.
Free
