Incredibly friendly people. We went at 7am on a Saturday and every single worker we met there was smiling, friendly and helpful.

Very friendly. If your trailer is registered over 10k gvwr or any truck over 17.5k (I think)gvwr they require u to have a dep card. I was turned away along with other ppl including a big uhaul truck. Never had an issue at any other place. I'm just putting this other there because it might save someone a wasted trip. But like I said very friendly and nice. I wish this info was on their website.

I've been bringing remodeling debris here for 15+ years, well before Michael Brothers took ownership. Since MB took over, there has been a steady stream of improvements to the facility, making it easier to use. They've added new scales, paved and improved the dump/drop area, moved/enlarged the entrance, and there's always staff nearby to help direct you where to go. In addition to debris, I have brought loads of green waste (grass/leaves/clippings) and fill (masonry rubble, soil w rocks, concrete debris, etc), which are billed at a cheaper rate than general waste. they now have bulk topsoil, mulch, and gravel/crushed stone for sale on the way out as well. Don't get me wrong - I miss the old days - owned by a cranky old guy who would mumble vague directions and then scold you for questioning the arbitrary price he assigned to your load based on 'a hunch'... but you had to have thick skin to venture past the gate. He didn't believe in signage. He was quick to help pull you out of the mud if you got your vehicle stuck, but didn't want to bother putting down gravel. The Michael Brothers setup is much more accessible, and gets people in and out quicker and easier. pretty much everywhere has gravel/hard-pack 'roads', with cones and basic signs/directions... very little chance of getting stuck here these days. Prices are comparable/competitive with other dumps I've used (in mckees rocks) (and much easier to get to, from East End of the city! )

Yes you can, just dumped clean fill there 2 weeks ago
They are not
They don't currently operate as a scrap yard. The recycling center is self service and provided at no cost.
I believe they will.
Yes they take organic matter, believe it is base price of $45.
Yes and this place sucks. If stuff gets stuck in your dump truck bed they bring the machine over and beat the hell out of your bed pulling the stuff out! They dented my dump bed and dump trailer. They will have you dump in a dumpster thats almost full and your be screwed. I go to abc ez over in mckees rocks. Only dump there when i have no choice
No they only take leaves they do not take grass cuttings
there's a minimum . I think around 50 or 60
$50 for a half ton. $65 for three quarter ton. $80 for a ton. If it is all brush or clean fill then I think it is much less.THE PRICES HAVE GONE UP MUCH MUCH HIGHER AS OF SEPTEMBER 2018. Their prices went up again this January so it's even a few dollars higher
They take them but Freon must be removed. Mostly metal items can be dropped of at no charge. Like most kitchen appliances. Garbage is $50 minimum that cover 1340 pounds. $75 per ton, they do pro rate so you pay for what you dump. Green waste such as brush ,leaves and other plant material is $35 a ton $35 minimum. Clean fill that is dirt, brick, block, rock or busted up concrete is $10 per ton $25 minimum. That is the price each vehicle in they do not combine loads. Tires are $5 per tire unless they are large machine or truck tires they cost more.
They do not take tv or electronics rotten food or dead animals, wet paint, chemicals, oil or asbestos. If paint is solid and dry it can be dropped off. So add kitty litter to paint and let it set for a few days before going.
