Quiet small park with access to trail system, several benches, tiny playground area for small children, clean rest rooms, lots of shade trees (just not in parking area) bikes & those scooter things available. Tennis courts, basketball hoops & pool across the street with separate parking area. Boat launch area, fishing (catch & release) pier. A few picnic tables, some under open canopy spots on cement.

I love to visit Frank Hall Park and Pelican bay. I am a very amatuare photographer and there's always something to photograph. The wildlife is coming to life as spring arrives. But even in the winter it's beautiful. I am excited to see the canoes out for rental this season. And I am hoping to take advantage of that this summer. There's always shells to pick off the shore, and the sunrises over the lake are amazing!!!

Nice walking/biking paths right on the lake, good size. I like walking my dog here (there are lots of garbage cans!). The paths also connect to the Blazing Star trail is you want to go further. There is some play equipment for kids-- a slide, rock wall, swings, etc. Also has gazebos and BBQ pits, bathrooms, bike repair station, horseshoe pits (nicely shaded by huge trees), motorized and non-motorized boat launches (non-motorized also has a self-service rental station for kayaks or a canoe). You might also catch a Grizzlies game here! Overall I think it has a good number of useful amenities and good location (though that means it's bordered by two busy roads). More stuff across the road too (tennis/pickleball, basketball, and the city water park). I found a half a dozen Albert Lea Rocks there last summer too. :) 4 stars only because I reserve 5 for oasis-like places. This is"just" a nice park.
