Thought the store would have had better deals (same model at home depot for $50 less and has box). Also hard to navigate through. I understand the concept of open box and leaving everything lying around so you think you are getting a deal but was just difficult to navigate and nothing was a good deal.

No. Both Sears Outlet and the new American Freight Appliance, Furniture, Mattress are completely separate entities from Sears and Sears' parent company TransformCo. In fact, starting in late April, we will no longer use the Sears Outlet name and it will be removed entirely from all of our materials and business operations.
