I'm sad to say that I had a terrible experience. Purely on skill of promised service... the employees and store are fantastic! This is only a review regarding sharpening services. I had a special request for a professional sharpener and knife expert. I brought in a $400 hand crafted bushcrafter knife with minor surface scratches and chips in the blade. I was told by Chuck that he had the experience, knowledge and tools to get the job done correctly.... with my hopes flying high I left my knife.... only to recieve a call a couple of hours later from Chuck stating that my knives were "tough"... I was pretty nervous about that to say the least... when I arrived he pulled out my knife and the minor scratches on the blade were absolutely buffed out, BUT the blade was do dull that I could run my entire thumb down the edge... normally it would draw blood 1/4 down... now it's a glorified letter opener... not to mention he took a chunk out of my G-10 Micarta handle and left compound in the cracks.... he ended up only charging me $4 but it cost me $400..... luckily I was able to have the manufacturer refurbish it for me for a fee but I'll be without my blade for 3 months and spending more money.... Lesson of the story: DO NOT OVER PROMISE!
