My Friend and I went out Lunch today to Amici Restaurant in Carrollton Texas , very disappointed experiences , food was way too salty, The Parmigiana Spaghetti lunch was like marmalade spaghetti overcooked, eggplant parmigiana had no crust no sign of bread crumbs either , I had a meatball sub , bread was rubber cannot chew it , sauce was salty , no happy , I told the waitress my feedback she reply with " impertinence" I do not cook here I am just a waitress. WOW! Amici in Italian mean friends, no friendly restaurant at all and the décor was nothing about Italy , actually the blondie lady was wearing a glitzy hat with American flag and fake rhinestones! no one smile no one welcome us and the grand opening is in a few days wow of course no wine was served they have no license yet bummer! salty food with no wine is a no no LOL they had some fresh rose on table but suffering and my mason jar had yellow water on rose she forgot to change the water after all they are only a dozen of tables. we never come back again. food doesn't test Italian at all test like PREGO sauce in jar ....

I discovered this place while searching through Google reviews. Italian food is not my go-to, but this has changed my mind. The food was delicious...Seasoned well and presentation complimented every bite. The atmosphere is perfect for small parties or celebrations. The staff was first time experienced focus. Very impressive decor. I drove at least 30 mins to get there (with the current gas prices) it was worth it!!
