Took off work twice for an appt that they messed up each time. Sat in a hallway for 20 minutes to get put in a room for pictures and put in a dental chair and have the Dr try to convince me to replace a retainer that was already removed. I came in for just glue removal did not get told about pictures or cost of anything. Paid $80 for my service that day and left. Received a bill from my insurance for another $55 for a consultation fee that I never had! Have been trying to call multiple times get the run around and told someone will call me back and they never do. I will never come back here and already have an appt set up with a new dentist. This place is TERRIBLE!!!

Unfortunately, I will be leaving this dentist due to constant rescheduling, lack of staff and true urgency to care for patients. I have been rescheduled twice for a cleaning and there was no sense of urgency to get me in the office when explained I have a cracked tooth with an exposed nerve— hurts to even drink water. The best we can do is “another month”… the answer I’ve been hearing for months. This practice can’t seem to find the time for their patients with this laundry list of problems.

A few years back my sister had a terrible experience and everyone should know. They do not use sterile equipment here, she was pricked with a dirty needle for a filling that lead to complications. She went back to Academy dental multiple times and they told her she was fine keep taking Ibuprofen. Meanwhile it’s been long enough for a filling to heal. Eventually she was taken to the hospital where she actually had an abscess so big in her jaw that she had to have emergency surgery on her neck because they could not open her mouth. She could have died because of that. I would never ever recommend this dentist office to anyone. They are completely incompetent and have no idea what they are doing.

My daughter was there today. Two of the people were very friendly and helpful. Since she has Anxiety. But the one who did the filling was very rude and Unprofessional. She came home very upset cause what she said to her. This person needs training how to treat people with metal health problems.
