The server was nice very efficient. The food was good, diner type foods. We had the ham and cheese sandwich. It was very good. The men's bathroom was very bad. The urinals have a 1/4 inch build up of urine smelling bacteria. It was disgusting. A bottle of bleach (and they sell bleach) could fix it in about 2 minutes a day for a week. Just spray the urinal with a bleach solution and let it soak. 3/4 times a day. In a week they will be clean. No excuse for this!

Great little truck stop. Keep their restrooms sparkly clean, the restaurant has good food and there is usually a place to park no matter when you arrive.

Not very good inventory. I didnt eat at the dinner so I cant speak on that but the regular gas station truck stop items werent very impressive or accommodating if you are on a strict medical diet. Highly suggest continuing south to villeplate...but...be prepared to pay a huge markup there...at least Sammy's was reasonable

I had breakfast here early in the morning. The service was good. The food was great. It was inexpensive. Great place to stop. Casino next door. Southern Louisiana hospitality.
