My wife and I lived here for about 7 years. Overall, we had a great experience with landlord, management, and maintenance team. They were always very accommodating and responsive. The other tenants here were friendly, respectful, and usually very quiet. The complex is located conveniently near the turnpike, shopping centers, and many restaurants. The only negative aspect is the fact that insulation in the outer walls is lacking. As such, end units (i.e., those which have 3 walls exposed to the sun) get unbearably hot in the summer (at least ours did)...so much so that even a brand new central air unit AND two (!!) extra window units couldn't keep up with the heat seeping in through the walls. The staff tried various things over the years to alleviate this issue for us, but nothing really worked so we eventually decided to move on. However, please note that the other tenants I talked to---those not in end units---did not have this trouble with the heat. Therefore, I do recommend Commerce Square as a good place to live, but be careful about renting an end unit.
