Doctor is very professional and nice, absolutely no issues there. However, insurance and billing is an absolute nightmare. I verified with the office on multiple occasions prior to and upon arriving to my appointment that my visit was covered under my student health insurance. Lab draws were billed as outpatient, regardless of being in the same office, which was not told to me either, I asked this question as well to ensure coverage. I have tried REPEATEDLY for months to get ahold of someone to change billing codes appropriately for reimbursement from insurance. Justin will call and leave a voicemail and I will call back immediately to hear the automated answering machine and him being out of office. Apparently, I can only call to get help when he is present, which seems to be once a week. It's been the most frustrating situation and absolutely no help is given to resolve the payment and billing issues. Please save yourself the awful headache.

I started seeing doctor Baker over 4 years ago. She was very available and professional. She displayed feelings of caring about me as a patient and almost as a friend discussing WW. I have had annual visits up until this year. I called well before the end of the year and was given a February 28 appointment. I thought that was a long wait but oh well. On about February 25-26 I got a call that Dr. Baker was going to be out of town and I needed to reschedule. The first available was March 22. I declined the appointment. If my doctor of 4 years doesn’t have time to see me I will need to find another doctor. During the past two years I have only been able to see Michael (PA or NP not sure which) This is very disappointing and I notice most of the 4 and 5 star reviews are from a few years back

I had an appointment with Dr. Baker. Once inside, I was passed off to Nurse Joyce. I never got a chance to see the actual doctor. I still don't know if there is a real doctor (the type that went to med school) in the office. Hopefully there is. Nurse Joyce is a nice guy. A war veteran. He's quite pleasant and from what I can figure out, trying his best. Sadly, when I call the doctor's office a receptionist answers. When I want to talk about getting my prescription filled in a timely manner a receptionist answers. When I get a call about my blood test results. A receptionist or some type of non-Doctor is on the other end of the phone giving my numbers and some generic advice. Keep exercising and watch your diet she says. So far my prescriptions have been screwed up. Again and again. I'm truly disappointed in my level of care. This Laura Baker corporate medical paradigm is rubbing me the wrong way.

Dr. Baker and her team are all fantastic! My husband and I have been seeing her and her team for almost a year and I brag about them to everyone. They all listen, communicate well, and focus on finding the cause not just covering symptoms. I literally cannot say enough good things about this doctor and her team.
