Very annoyed at the inept front desk clerk. have an open claim with USPS for a package missing contents. Got a letter from USPS stating I needed to take all packaging and materials to the post office. I get there and the front desk clerk, black lady, fair skinned, older, long hair and wore glasses, refuses to take the packaging. Won't take my claim # and wouldn't look at my original mailing receipt . She wouldn't do anything stating "We can't do anything with an empty box and our post office doesn't process claims" lies, I called USPS and they stated the opposite. The clerk was supposed to download the damage report form, fill it out and give me form 1000 as a receipt. The clerk wouldn't even allow me to speak to a supervisor stating "she won't know what to do either" Called customer service and filed a complaint, apparently this women lied and stated I was trying to ship and empty box. So my claim may be denied due to her lack of understanding her job she needs be to fired ASAP! 8/5/2022 The disdain that I have for this post office is like the passionate burning of a thousand suns. I have a hold mail confirmation placed and every time I go to collect my mail they are telling me it's not available. I keep getting this convoluted post office jargon about how they distribute and sort mail and I don't care about any of that. My rent is about to be late because I'm still waiting on my mail! If I ask them to hold mail it should be available at the post office the day I go to pick it up. There is no reason I shouldn't be able to go in everyday and pick my mail up. I should not have to wait three or four days to pick my mail up. I have never experienced a problem like this at any other post office but this one. God bless her heart, Collingdale seems to only have freaking mail carrier for our entire neighborhood and I feel so bad for her!!!

Returned from vacation July 5.. Went to Post Office to get mail that was on vacation hold. Clerk at counter said she could not find any held mail. She could ;not explain what happened to my mail.

It is bad enough my mail is always misdirected or I receive mail for people who have never lived here. Today at 1:07 p.m. I have video of the mail person (a young black girl) throwing my medication from the VA hospital on the front steps without putting it in the mailbox which was empty or even placing it in my front door. First she threw it at my neighbor's front door while standing on his bottom steps then realized she made a mistake, picked it up and tossed it on my front steps then left. Thank goodness I have a security camera and saw it laying on the steps. I tried calling the Darby PO but of course the phone rang for 10 minutes before it disconnected. Called again, same thing. This is going to the news media. Absolutely unacceptable.

Am not receiving my mail. Anyone who has an issue with the customer service at this location, Please Google Consumer Protection Agency. File a quick claim with them, it’s free and they will work to possibly get you money back that you may have lost and hopefully help remove the bad people from this job.
