I had a similar issue with getting fingerprinted for the NJ Bar Exam. Unfortunately, all you can do is set an appointment and check back often to see if someone has cancelled.
I went yo Annandale for fingerprints 2x pretty fast there in and out.
As far as I know, whatever agency the prints were ordered for gets the results. My fingerprints were for a firearms id card so my local PD gets the results.
You have to go at the time of your appointment, otherwise the person won't have your information or where they're sending your prints.
