Understanding the wait, but it really took a long time to receive my appliances( COVID) but would have been nice to just communicate a little considering it was months

Can't say enough bad things about George's appliance on Pine. My inl-aws always used them for appliances and always got great deals. However, we have been without a dryer for 3 weeks because their technician is a joke and doesnt know what parts to order or plan ahead. There has been little to no communication with the company and when parts might be in or of they can even get the needed parts. They're closed half the week and only open 5 hrs a day when opened. I had to call them multiple times to figure out what is going on. Today they were supposed to make us a priority and fix it then the technician called and said he'd be here at 3. They changed it to noon when I flipped out on them. Bottom line is local companies are not always better, and customers aren't always a priority. We will see if they even show up....

I purchased a GE washer from George’s Appliance 8months ago with approximately 7 service calls later I have heard several excuses including how the machine was set up which was by his delivery people was why this machine has needed a new motor, new transmission and new agitator. Needless to say the machine over the next month and a half is still not working. The owner and service man have been extremely rude and ignorant with every increasing phone call I have made just to get what I paid for a working washer.They have never fixed the issue or made it right. The serviceman even blamed my outlet because he can’t figure the problem out even though my dryer is working perfectly fine to this day in that very outlet. I should have been offered my money back after what I went through because a washing machine should last more than 8 months. It is just sad to me that I have always recommended George’s to everyone I came across looking for an appliance but after this experience I have lost all my faith in them. You will never ever have to worry about me entering your store in the future.The moral to this comment is I went out and needed to purchase another washer at Lowes to wash my uniforms because I work at a hospital and the new machine works perfectly fine in that very outlet.Buyers Beware….
