Management refused to fix heating and ac. Hot water stayed out of order. Imagine being disabled and having to live like that. In the summer time. My son and I had to sit in my car with ac just to cool off or we would go to Walmart or the mall. After fulfilling my lease manager promised to mail me my security deposit and to this day never has. It's been over a year and I still have not received it yet. They refused for months to fill out my residential form so I can move. Finally after months of waiting when I wouldn't sign another lease. They filled out form. First bathroom kept a funny odor in it no matter what I did to try to get rid of it. Over a year later when they come to change the toilet and and remove the old one. There was a bunch of maggots in the floor. I never seen nothing like that before. I've never experienced such poor management in my life. So much was wrong with Hillcrest apartments it would take too much time and space to name them all. Management even refused to give me corporate address or phone number. I wouldn't recommend these appointments to anyone.

Due to major failure of heating and water systems at Hillcrest Apartments, the City activated an overnight emergency warming shelter yesterday and notified Hillcrest residents by distributing fliers. The City continues to work with the property owners to identify additional solutions.

The management is terrible. Do not move here. The mold will make you sick and they will not do anything about it. Bursting pipes in the dead of winter. AC going out in the dead of summer with no intention to fix any issues. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

I work as a home health care provider which means I'm there most of the day and the visters parking is so far away and full because they only allow one parking sticker per household have at least 2 to3 car so they use the visters parking where else or they going to park without getting towed? The apartments have plenty of parking spaces but refuse to let residents use more than one parking space or make more visters parking, I feel that the personal is working with the tow company to make money off of residents and visitors. This is not the only issue with this place, I've seen sewage waist all over the parking lot and sidewalks that just stayed there until it dried up, they treat the residents like the residents need them they don't need the residents, it's sad I wouldn't recommend anyone to move there. I don't know if the owners are aware. but they need to talk to the people who live there not the people in the office, I see all of this and I don't live There.Thank God
I lived there 15 years ago,was taking care of my dad who was on hospice. his car tags expired they towed it twice in 2 days before I tarped it up,then the tow man who lived on site came out and said don't worry about he wasn't gonna tow it again,.I hated them apartments and wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy.
Some people have no other choice. I lived there over 10 years ago. Sounds like that they have gone down hill no pun intended lol. If you're before having kids go for it pretty cheap for mesquite. Not a good place for kiddos.

I wouldn't recommend Hillcrest apartments to any one, I've been waiting since September for repairs I've put in the same work order four times,not to mention raw sewage running over the parking lot at least every 2 to 3 months and they will not clean it up stays there after running of the parking lot 4 weeks until it dries up so you're tracking raw sewage back into your apartment on your carpet and in your car, and they have rats.
300 dollars deposit for a dog witch u will never get back
