The Botanical Garden has an exhibit of stone sculptures from Zimbabwe until April 18th. Glad we got to see it and several of the sculptors at work. Amazing!

I love the Botanical Gardens and have been there several times. I was disappointed that's the koi pond was empty thanks to the tilapia. Hopefully they will be able to restock the pond and keep the koi safe. I love going there and seeing new exhibits, and was happy to see the African sculptures. We'll look forward to seeing the spring blooms and and seeing everything green again. Keep up the good work and I will be back soon with more of my friends.

Nice, easy walk. The butterfly house "lady" was very informative. The sculptures were a great addition. I liked that many things were labeled. So many coconuts on the trees. I was wondering why they are not being used.

We took the granddaughters here and then went back 4 days later with a friend of mine and we all really enjoyed it. Most of the plants/trees are labeled which is a great plus as you can see what they are instead of wondering. The art work sprinkled throughout the gardens was complementary to the plants/trees. There were sections of different categories of plants (e.g. cactus, bromeliad) The bougainvillea section had vibrant colors of flowers with multiple types of bougainvillea's. There is a walkway going to Peace River where there is a place to sit down and it is so peaceful and lower temperatures due to the Peace River. The staff all stopped to ask us if we had any questions and shared some of their knowledge with us. There will be Christmas lights displayed in December and ongoing displays in upcoming months. It is a smaller facility with about 1.2 miles of walking to see most of the gardens. Excellent place for a quiet, peaceful visit.

Hours change depending on time of year. Oct-2018: 10-5 - all days of the week. Beautiful, excited to see it in 2020 when it will be 2-3X the size.
There is a lot to see now some of the plantings are still immature but they have a lot of sculptures around and two more coming after the middle of this month. Right now they're saying come and see us grow. As soon as we come into the rainy season everything will just take off next year this time it is going to be spectacular. So I think everybody should see it now so they can compare it next year
Yes it is a walking gardens and you can walk as far as you heart desires
I have walked the entire pathway without any fatigue and I am 79 years old. There are benches to rest if you need.. I estimate there is about one mile if paths.
I've never seen puppies there

Groups are welcome. Call the Gardens and tell them when your group would like to visit. They can have a docet available for your group.
The last time I went there the admission for adults was ten dollars. Well worth the price, especially if you are a naturalist.
May we bring a pet on leash? Is there an entrance fee?
