Dr. Turner banded my male goat a couple of weeks ago. I looked at the area yesterday and it looks like there is a hole and the flesh around the area is dark. The goat is walking gingerly like he hurts. Is this normal or could he have an infection?

Tracy Corlew | Oct 19, 2019
A.D. Guzman | Oct 19, 2019

It may be perfectly normal, however, Dr Dan would like to see your goat in person to ensure everything is fine. You may walk in Monday through Friday 8-5 or Saturday 8-12. You can also call to schedule an appointment. We would like for you to bring him in as soon as possible.
