When done right its good but, #43 special beef burrito, cheese and enchilada sauce. Do better on the red sauce.

It was on a Tuesday and my first choice for Mexican was La Fiesta in Thomaston, but they were so full we could not find a parking place. Our 2nd Choice was Pedro's in Zebulon, but they have even a smaller parking lot and they were full also. El Mariachi was next and there was plenty of room in their parking lot. It was our first time and we were pleasantly surprised. Service was good, beer was cold, many menu options, portion size was fair, restrooms were clean, food was tasty. The only negative was they miscalculated our check and I had to correct them. We will still go back

We arrived at 11:30am on a Friday. At the time, there appeared to only be 1 server with several tables. So it took a little while. But we were ok with that. Totally understandable. The lower rating is for the quality and portions of their food. The salsa was amazing and the chips were hot and fresh. The meals, however, were small and were missing something. It just didn't taste like that amazing Mexican restaurant food that we've grown to love. We will still be back to support our community.
