My absolute favorite store in DFW! If you love fountain pens, or are new to them in general, please consider coming here. Brick and mortar fountain pen stores are rare as it is.. The owner, Kevin, is very much a salt-of-the-earth variety kind of guy, who is more than willing to offer a helping hand if you need assistance figuring out what you’re looking for. This is *not* a record store, nor a game store where smug gate-keeping abounds and newcomers are often looked down upon, to their disappointment. I would say it is very much the exact opposite at Fountain Pen Revolution, and it is a consolation to see such a business operating with such integrity in this age. Regarding selection: the store offers a curation of the standards: Pilot, LAMY, Kaweco, TWSBI, et al., as well as a lot of Indian fountain pen brand imports, as well as a lot of the major ink & fountain-pen paper brands. FPR has its own offerings of inks. I think the royal blue is beautiful; consider that if you want something unique. Vintage pens are not sold here. All of the above is fine and dandy, and not to downplay all of the aforementioned, but the most unique thing about this company is this: Kevin’s own line of fountain pens— they are utterly remarkable. These Fountain Pen Revolution models are manufactured in India (and sometimes in Japan) and then brought state-side, and the quality and the value for what you get price-wise is *not* an act of settling for that which is lesser (sometimes people settle if they are frugal, like yours truly) but that which is wholly excellent and superior in quality. I have some writing utensils that are expensive but the FPR pens humble some of them and make me second-guess my vice of unbridled consumerism. Again: do not fall into the lie that affordable ≠ quality in construction, beauty, or the bells & whistles that come with a lot of the more prestigious brands. A couple things to note: the actual store is inside the same church in the shopping center, so please bear that in mind. I struggled the first time I came to visit. I have made several times already, and I imagine I will only be back countless times more, much to my wallet’s chagrin! For those completely new to fountain pens: get a Himalaya V2 or if you want to splurge, the Jaipur V2! Also, if you have terrible handwriting, stubs cover a multitude of sins, but I also really like the ultra-flex nibs if you really want something different. The good news is that you can try out all the FPR nib options with the testers he has out for folks coming by. Seriously, come by. You won’t regret it. I also really like my leather two-pen holder. You don’t look like as much a dork with it, say, compared to a normal pocket protector in your shirt pocket. That is a serious, major plus! You will not regret coming here! 😁 100/10

Fountain Pen Revolution as a company, and it's owner Kevin, individually, are top notch. After my first order I was so pleased, that I've placed three additional orders in the last month or so. I bought a couple of additional pens for myself, and pens as gifts for two of my sons and a good friend. I've called the company with questions, and the call was answered promptly and I received courteous, informative answers. Each of my orders was processed ridiculously quickly (including on weekends and one of them on Memorial Day). The pens have each been better than they should be at even double or triple the price points. The first was a "Himalayan V2", then a TWSBI "Eco", then several of his FPR "Ambassador" pens (buy one get one free, but well worth the full price), and finally, an FPR "Tanoshi". For several of my orders there was included for free an FPR "Muft". Each of these pens punches way above it's weight class. Even the free Muft is worth way more than "free". My expectations were about -0- for the Muft. I was shocked with how well it writes. I am using a Noodler's "Eel" (high lubricity) ink in it, and there is no skipping or hard starts. The Muft can easily serve as an every day carry pen. I cannot speak more highly of this company and its products, and I am confident there are more purchases from FPR in my future.

My daughter had some issues with an FPR Jaipur that she bought at the pen show. She was tired of it and ready to throw in the towel. I suggested she talk to the owner first since it was pretty new. We did take it to FPR, my daughter presented the issue and showed him pics and he made us both very happy when he said "well, let's get that swapped for you." This especially made me happy as a mom, who's trying to teach my daughter to ask for things, even when it's hard. Plus this shows her goodness and humanity in the world. Plus she really loves having a pen store nearby... There's not many! So this will make her happy too.

Generally, I do not but I'm happy to take a look if you want to bring them by. Sometimes I will buy old pens if the deal is right.
I'm sorry to say we are out of 14k gold flex nibs right now.
Hi Barbara! I was going to run one for New Years and got sick and behind. But I'll plan to run one soon. I look forward to seeing you and Bear!
