i wont lie that i neglect to follow the speed limit from time to time. however, i have never been in a wreck and have 6+ years delivery driving experience so I'd like to think of myself as a safe driver. moving to garland, cops are constantly hiding around speed traps looking to hand out citations. i went to court for my speeding ticket with the hopes that the officer that gave me the citation would not show up for my trial and as a result dismiss my case. instead, they rescheduled my court date twice. i went out of my way to free up my schedule twice and the cop who gave me a ticket screwed me out of my time cause he didnt want to show up. due to scheduling issues,i couldn't reschedule a 3rd time and ended up having to plead guilty even after i did my part to show up both times they rescheduled. they are not for the people

Called to get information about an issue I had and received no help from the front desk or anybody. I would REPEATEDLY ask them my question and they would say they didn't know what I needed. They either need customer service classes or need new people overall. Wish I could give this 0 stars.

I know Police Officers are busy and they have a tough job and I do sympathize, but I'm pretty disappointed at the response or lack there of that I've witnessed today. A contractor's truck was stolen from my work parking lot this morning. The contractor called and reported his truck stolen at just after 8:00 a.m., but he is still waiting for the police to show up and it past 2:00 p.m.

Photography is not a crime. The Supreme Court ruled that if an individual is in a public place that they may photograph anything that they can see. I will try to post the case for this later this week. See Katz v. U.S. And Turner v. Driver
YES, YOU WILL BE ARRESTED.
The uninsured vehicle should have been towed away at the scene tbh
I'm not a lawyer, but I believe if he is refusing to give you your car back you could attempt to press charges, the money for a service that was never completed should be solved in civil litigation I think. As for him threatening you and your family, you should absolutely call the police. Again I'm not a lawyer so not sure if that is correct. Call the PD for a correct answer.
Call the non emergency number anything after 10pm is a nuisance
Its called stalking and yes its a crime I suggest filing for a restraining order
City of Garland code compliance, noise ordinance
If it's Prison you have to contact TDCJ and find out if they can accept communications and proceed from there. If it's city/county jail you can go-to city's webpage for PD and find out the public release for the center and proceed same as above.
It may be Officer Allen. Forgot his first name. I worked with him in the early 70's. I believe he ran for Dallas County Sheriff at one time. Maybe early 80's.
Yes, there are designated spots out front.
Good question, inquiring minds wanna know. I've discovered alot on goggle. Try crime reports in your area. Usually within 24 hrs a news post will hit if it was considered news worthy.
They can ask the owner to quiet their dog but this is a concern for the health department. Contact them and they can walk you through the process.

Fill out a Vacation Watch form. Either get it from the internet at their website or go to the front desk at the police department and fill out the form.
Law enforcement are also trained not to say anything they are not 100% sure about. Some cases offer a little more lenience than others. "What do you know about my case?" Is something only your assigned detctive can answer because he has your file. Not every officer has the same info or even access to said info.
What does this question have to do with the GPD?
What video are you talking about?
If you want to make a complaint, it has to be in writing. Go to the Garland police department's website and download the Internal Affairs form or go to the station and ask for a copy of it. It's always best to not discuss the details with any officer because it should remain confidential.
Regardless of the situation, make sure you are not parking anywhere prohibited / in handicapped parking if you do not possess the proper credentials for it. Do not Park on unimproved surfaces or where otherwise traffic may be obstructed. If you feel this may be a different issue, contact the department/justice to get it sorted out.
Yes, the police can step in and clear these people out. It doesn't help by going online. If you want help, call 911 when the people first start racing.
The police department cannot help you recover this. You’ll need to contact Google for help with your account . You can also file a police report, but may need to do so in person. Also, don’t forget to contact your bank and notify them of your compromised account information/debit card.
Call a NBC put it in the news.
Go talk to someone who works in that field. Get a lawyer take him to court.
Contact Dallas County Sheriff.
Police Station lobby closes at 7:00pm on week days. I don't know the hours on the weekends.
Garland Police are not responsible for bodies of the dead.
Send the list to me when you get it. I need to fill out a complaint form on a couple of officers.
Contact the police department tell them about your concern and ask them to send someone.
