I like how they’ve made it a simple process to bring my recycling, just show up and put your recycling in the correct bin. Which are all clearly labeled.

Nice and helpful lady at the front desk.

Amazing Organization.

That’s a great idea, Teresa! We may just do that! 😊
Hey Gillian! What a great question! At Recycle Revolution we do not offer any compensation for any of the materials that we accept. I wish that I could refer to someone who does pay for glass, but unfortunately we don't know anyone in the Dallas area. If you find someone who does give us a call! Thank you!
Hi View, thank you for the question! Generally speaking, we do not buy small (non-commercial) quantities of recyclable material at our Center, and only rarely do we buy large quantities. However, there are several of local recycling facilities that do buy smaller quantities of paper, and we'd be very happy to refer you to one near you. Please don't hesitate to give us a call at 214.566.3025 (ask for Maria, and let her know you spoke with Eddie), and we'll do our best to point you in the right direction! Thank you again for your question and hope to hear from you! :)
Hi Sarah, thank you so much for the question! We feel your pain regarding your apartment's recycling dumpster. Unfortunately, it's more common than it should be for recyclables to be jettisoned following collection. We usually attribute this to a subpar program, but the reality is there may not be a program (which involves tenant education, communication, and follow-ups, at the least) in place at all--it may simply be a dumpster! RR does service Hurst, but the distance from our Center (in central Dallas) means there are almost certainly more affordable options. The immediate operations that come to mind are larger, national companies with local branches, Republic being one of them. Another is the Smurfit Kappa Recycling Center, although I don't know if they offer collection to apartments (it's worth asking!). As far as smaller, service-oriented companies like RR, I don't know of any in that particular area. If you'd like to get info from us, please don't hesitate to give us a call!
Hi Henry! Thanks for working to get those tires recycled! We don't accept them at Recycle Revolution. We recommend taking them to Hamm's Tires. They have locations in Dallas, Lewisville, and Watauga.
Hmm yea tough question as they do compost, but I would imagine tree parts would also require more work to get them smaller enough for compost. I dont know if they have the people or resources foe that. I was literally just there yesterday! I do know though that some city trash drop offs will mulch them up. I know n for sure that's what Texas Pure Products at the Custer Transfer Station does. They mulch up people's trees/shrubs int their mulch. They can also much up the non pure co post into a different variety of compost. I know from volunteering there once, so I am unsure if their is any fee for deop off (or reimbursement/credit??). I can't imagine it is large as I saw nonstop dozens of people drive in and drop of their trees, shrubs, grass and paper bags fulll of the likes.
Pretty sure it's fine. They have specific bins, so if the paper was in a plastic bag, it would have to be dumped and then the plastic bag goes with woth its soft plastic buddies.
Not sure about cans but no on plastic bottles.
Hey Mesfin! We are still open! :)
Yes it is. Be sure to clean out those items first.
Our Community Drop-Off Center is open to everyone! :)
What a great question Toaster Vu! We do not offer payment for any of the recyclables we accept.
Thanks for reaching out to us Oliver! We do accept waxed cardboard for $1 a gallon to be composted!
Hi Kerrie, thanks for asking! Yes, we do accept wire hangers at our Community Drop-Off Center. Hope to see you soon! Thanks! :)
Hi Tai, you sure can! :) Hope to see you soon!
Hi Muhammed, thanks for asking! We do accept a large variety of batteries, via both our collection service for businesses and our Community Drop-Off Center. For a comprehensive list of the batteries we accept and pricing, please feel free to give us a call at 214.566.3025 or visit www.recyclerevolutiondallas.com/pricing. Thanks again for your interest in recycling with us!
Hi Evelyn, thanks for the question! We do recycle cardboard boxes here at our Center. Thanks again and hope to see you soon!
Yea they do!
Hi Teresa, thanks for asking! Yes we do accept & recycle electronics—both via our Community Drop-Off Center & our paid Collection Service. If you’d like to recycle with us, please be sure to call 214.566.3025 first to see if any fee(s) apply to the items you’d like to recycle! Thanks again for asking and hope to see you soon! 😊♻️✊🏽
Hi Kathryn, thank you for the question! We do gladly accept and recycle textbooks, both at our Community Drop-Off Center & via our commercial Collection Service. However, if you’re asking whether we have received bulk quantities of those textbooks from school districts over the years, to my knowledge we have not. Hope this answers your question! If you have another one, please let us know. 😊🙏🏽
They accept these items; yes. They do not pay for items. This is a community drop off center for recyclables.
Hi Mac, thank you so much for writing! Yes, we do accept and recycle most plastic political campaign signs at our Center. However, we ask that they are taken apart (if necessary) prior to our handling them, so that we do not have to remove metals (or any other materials) from the plastic. I would think that the City of Dallas's recycling program would also accept these signs, but you'll need to call them (411) to confirm! Thank you so much again for writing us and I hope this helps and that we see you at our Center soon! :)
Hey Jeffree! Thank you for leaving us a question and thank you Brett for responding! We do accept VHS tapes through our community drop-off center for $2 a pound. Hope to see you soon!
Hi Sherwood, thanks for asking! No, unfortunately we are not able to buy glass bottles. We do, however, accept them for responsible recycling from both residents (at our Community Drop-Off Center) and businesses (via our Recycling Collection Service). If you'd like info about either of those options, please don't hesitate to let us know! As far as selling them goes, if you are in possession of bulk quantities (tons per delivery), you may consider calling Strategic Materials in Midlothian or Dlubak Glass in Waxahachie. Thanks again for writing and hope this is helpful!
Hi Daniel, thank you for asking! Yes, we do accept and recycle T8 lamps at our Center. There is a per lamp fee that depends on the quantity delivered. Our staff can help you unload if you'd like once you arrive. Please call our office at 214.566.3025 for up to date pricing and Drop-Off hours. Thank you again for asking and hope to see you here!
Hi Jason, thank you so much for writing! Unfortunately, we do NOT accept empty air gas (helium) tanks for recycling. A good place to call for information regarding the responsible disposal of those items is the Dallas County Home Chemical Collection Center. You can reach them at 214.553.1765. Thank you again for writing and hope this was helpful!
Not really sure what you're actually asking but this place doesn't pay you to recycle. If you're looking for cash this is not the place.
Hello! I would like to know if you recycled plastic bags? Thank you!
Hi Niki, thanks for asking! We DO accept old tube TVs. There is a $.45/lb fee to cover shipping and handling costs once we receive the unit at our Center (we also offer a pick-up service, charged separately). As I'm sure you're aware, those old tube TVs can be really heavy (!!!), so take your time, do the math, and just let us know if there's anything we can do to help you recycle it. :)
Hi Frankie, thanks for the question! Unfortunately, we do not buy tempered glass table tops nor any other glass products here. You may try the folks over at Dlubak Glass Co in Waxahachie, TX. If they can't help you, they may know of a place that can. Thank you again for asking and best of luck with your project!
I haven't seen any wood there personally
Hi Brittany, thanks for the question! Unfortunately, like DJ (below) said, we are a Community Drop-Off Center, not a plastics processor. I can't think of any place locally off the top of my head that buys plastic water bottles from the public, but if I do I will be sure to respond again here and let you know! Thanks again for the question and don't hesitate to ask more!
Hi Julia, thanks for asking! Generally speaking, there is no charge for clean post-consumer plastic items dropped off at our Community Drop-Off Center. This is always true for clean plastic items labeled #1 (like water bottles), #2 (like milk jugs), #4 (like plastic film/bags), and #5 (like yogurt cups), and often true for #6 (except for Styrofoam products) and #7. We DO charge for clean Styrofoam products, however, and recommend calling us at 214.566.3025 for up-to-date pricing on that. If you have industrial quantities of any plastic, please call us about pricing on that, also. Hope this answers your question and that we see you soon! :)
Hi Yagami, thanks for writing! We do buy aluminum cans at our Center, but only in large quantities, and we tend to not be as competitive pricing-wise as local scrapyards (we are actually a Community Drop-Off Center). Pricing is market-based and changes frequently, so if you're thinking of coming by, we recommend you call us at 214.566.3025 first. If we can’t help you, we’d be very happy to refer you to another recycler that can. Thanks again for writing and hope to hear from you!
Hi Latanja, thanks for the question! Unfortunately, due to the abnormal classification of paint as a recyclable, we don't accept used paint at our Community Drop-Off Center. Instead, we usually direct folks to the Dallas Home Chemical Collection Center (at 11234 Plano Rd) or the local Habitat for Humanity. You may consider calling either of those places! Hope this helps! :)
Feel free to take them to us! We charge $2.00 per pound for alkaline or rechargeable batteries, and $10.00 per pound for lithium or silver oxide batteries.
Hey Brenna! Great question! We can take reusable plastic waterbottles as long as they are all one type of plastic. We do only have one drop-off location (which is our address on Google). Let us know if you have any other questions!
Hey RockE! Thank you for reaching out to us! It kind of depends. If you're just a resident dropping off cardboard then we can except it for free. If you're coming from a business then we do charge $50/ton for cardboard. Please feel free to let us know if you have any other questions! Thanks!
Hey Kristin! That's a great question! We collect our compost through our community drop off for $1 a gallon. Hope to see you soon!
We do not accept Washing Machines, however Action Metals Recyclers should be able to help!
No
Hi Susan, thanks for writing! You do NOT need to remove any paper labeling from glass bottles in order for us to accept & recycle them. Thank you again for asking and hope to see you at our Center sometime!
Both
Recycle rev does recycle paper. Please make sure it is paper only with no trash mixed in.
