Best donuts in Sacramento. Really. This is my golden standard for comparison when I visit other shops. Love their apple fritters. One downside: cash only. They lost my business on multiple occasions because I just did not have cash on me.

Went to Richards donut for the first time today after 11am and the donuts were delicious. Most of the time, donuts after 10am taste stale but these donuts were delicious. AND the man who helped me (could he be Richard) was very kind and even gave me some free donut holes since it was my first visit. Very kind man. My son and I loved the donuts and the customer service and we will be back! :)
