The worst automated system ever, you have to speak out loud it is the only option. If ur walking or driving it's not only seemingly embarrassing but also the wind makes it send you to a 13 min wait time for a employee for no reason. I'm leaving the bank because I just can't live like this

My visit to Golden One in Carmichael was my first visit and I was very worried because I had concerns and I wanted someone to hear me and answer me and give me enough time and fortunately I met Mr. Charles English he was very respectful and he answered all my questions really I felt happy that I sat with his employee A smiling, kind, respectful and patient face I want to say thank you with all my heart for helping me

On a Friday had an issue with our Account being compromised. Spoke with “Miriam” at the Call Center. She said we would need to visit the Bank personally for these issues. She offered to call the Golden One’s in our area to book an Appointment for us. Miriam said she attempted twice with 2 Offices, that were “no answers.” She stated that she would call the Carmichael office location, as they talk all the time. She told us, “ You have an Appointment tomorrow at 9:45am with Johnny at the Manzanita Office”. “The Appointment is before this location even opened.” Wow! Woke up early, drove out of our way, to be informed that the Manzanita Golden One doesn’t make Appointments, nor does a Johnny even exist there. I contacted the Call Center, escalated the issue & of course they can’t do a thing. (If you would look at your Call Log, you could figure out who I spoke with & when). So, to say the least, 2 Senior Citizens waited in the line of 25 people, during a Pandemic to have our issue resolved 3 hours later. It must be noted that we reside out-of-state now, and will be taking our Services elsewhere. We were Customers since the 80’s... Left after 35 years of banking with them!

Really unprofessional. I tried going in on two separate occasions to open a checking account. First time they said too close to closing to open an account even though I was there 20 min before closing. Second time they said one of the bankers was having lunch so it might be an hour wait. 6 tellers standing around doing nothing but no one to do a simple task of opening a checking account. There is a coin machine [Coin Star] on Carmichael Village in Bel Air next to the Guest Service desk
