Student SLO is a good place for students who want to focus on school and graduation. The employees on site are excellent. However the parent corporation - 6star - needs to do better. They don't treat their employees well enough and they never have enough good people, hire more! Although I understand finding good emloyees can be tough. 6star is a strange name and logo, they need to change it to something better and more positive. Brighter logo colors also. Walls here are too thin. They need better sound proofing.

Construction is a constant here. In only 10 months we have had power lines re-done, water lines re-done, wifi outages (seperate from wifi outages due to power outages), the roof re-done twice, termites, and more. No compensation is ever given for this and often this construction starts at 7am (one time this was during finals week). Needless to say this place is truly awful, they have little consideration for renters rights and often leave issues unresolved. A great example is how every building has a stairwell. In ours, one step is loose on each flight, causing all of my roommates to have fallen at least once, when coming home. More than this, issues such as broken window or roof holes will go unresolved for weeks, which can make the apartment almost unlivable in winter time. This place may seem cheap, but no good deal is worth this kind of management 0/5 stars.

Slum lords. They will shut off your electrical or wifi every afternoon. Showers? Get used to cold ones. Noisy as hell. laundromat will lock your clothes. Bad parking.

Can you bring a tv for your room when you live with roommates?

Theres a TV in the common area but you can also put one in your room. There isn't any cable though so youll need some type of device to stream with. Chromecasts also do not work on the wifi here.
