They are there for people having a difficult time. They make it so finding food does not have to be the entire focus for a family. They are very helpful polite an never make you feel bad for needing help. Thanks to all. ❤️

The Salvation Army in Dekalb was very helpful to my grandson. He needed help with groceries.

What is the actual hours of the food pantry says 9 ta 4 but I was just told it closed at noon I believe

The DeKalb food pantry is open the Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - Noon, and Thursday 5 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. Hope this helps!
Even throughout this massive pandemic, are you still going to be going through with the food pantry? I'm sorry to have bothered you, I just don't have the money to go to the store, and i have maybe one or two meals.

Hello Cassie, yes out food pantry is open through drive-through only, with prepackaged boxes delivered curbside, and clients can receive food once a week (instead of the previous once a month).
Please call the corps in the morning at after 9am at (815) 756-4308.
